Fellow Social Life
At Upstate Medical University, the Critical Care Fellowship program goes beyond just academic and clinical training. We understand that cultivating a supportive and engaging Critical Care fellow social life is equally crucial for our fellows' overall well-being and growth. To foster this sense of community, we host a range of social events throughout the year where our fellows can unwind, mingle, and forge meaningful connections with their peers.
Each of our events offers an excellent opportunity for our fellows to get to know each other outside the clinical setting, fostering camaraderie and team spirit. Whether it's casual get-togethers, celebratory dinners, or outdoor recreational activities, these events are designed to enhance the fellowship experience, promote work-life balance, and build a strong, cohesive community within the program.
Our fellows come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and these gatherings provide a platform for them to share their stories, learn from each other, and create lasting bonds. At Upstate Medical University, we believe that a vibrant social life complements rigorous academic and clinical training, contributing to a holistic fellowship experience.
We put a strong emphasis on promoting the health and well-being of our fellows. Because of this, we put together events held by our program to promote the well-being of our fellows, as well as our faculty. These events include:
- Fellows Welcome Breakfast
- Monthly Wellness Breakfast
- October Pumpkin Carving
- Multicultural Festival
- Division Holiday Party
- DOM Residents/Fellow Picnic
- Graduation Party
