Your Interview
If you have submitted your application for the Critical Care Fellowship at Upstate Medical University, you will be subject to an interview with our faculty and staff members. We encourage you to prepare for this interview to the best of your ability. Below, you will find what you can expect from your Critical Care Fellowship interview process.
Prior to scheduling for your interview, you will be contacted by our Program Coordinator via ERAS. Our Program Coordinator will send out a notice on scheduling your upcoming interview dates with our faculty. In the academic year of 2024, all interviews will be conducted online through Webex.
ERAS will send out a scheduler with all available dates for your interviews, and faculty members will be assigned to your interviews based on their availability. Interviewees will interview with about 4-5 faculty members on their scheduled day. Interviews will be held in 20-minute intervals, with 5-10-minute breaks between each session.
Before meeting with your scheduled faculty interviewer, you will be held in the Program Coordinator's waiting room. The Program Coordinator, along with a few of our current fellows, will be there for the duration of the interview day to answer any questions that may arise regarding the Critical Care Fellowship at Upstate.
